Rosita was born in Salinas, CA in 1951. September 1993 she moved to Medford, OR where she continued her real estate career with Coldwell Banker then opening up her own office with Realty World.
Growing up in the Salinas Valley, she grew up with 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She has fond memories of playing in the Salinas River with her brothers and sisters. They dug up their own worms for bait as we fished in the river and played tarzan in the trees.
Work started with being a secretary right after graduating from high school with Firestone Tire & Company. Then she decided to switch to a 25 year career with real estate helping people buy their dream home. But wait, she then wanted to help people finance their dream home so she pursued a career in mortgage lending for 9 years. And now she is serving the seniors with their Medicare needs. Interviewing Rosita I found that our working lives were the same, except I retired after lending officer. Small world.
On her 30th birthday Cupid paid a surprise visit at her party with family and friends. What a surprise that was for her. She got the arrow from Cupid and she still has it tucked away in a safe place.
Biggest obstacle is minding the 35 mph on Alta Vista (she got a ticket going over that).
Rosita’s biggest accomplishment was raising two beautiful children (son and daughter) and sharing the love of Jesus so they could share it with their children. She and her husband Jim have 4 children and 5 grand blessings.
Her words of wisdom are “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your mind and with all your Soul”. Then do what you want! Keep the main thing the main thing; and the main thing is Jesus!
Rosita and Jim live here in beautiful Eagle Point. They both are very active at Trail Christian Fellowship where they participate on a worship team. They love music, guitars, keyboard, djembe, singing…….. Every chance they get they love spending time with the grandkids as well as take their 5th wheel and take in the beauty of the rivers, lakes, mountains and ocean views. They love traveling in their 5th wheel and with lots of snacks. Don’t forget the snacks!
